Yamaha Recalls UMAX Bistro and Bistro Deluxe Vehicles Due to Injury Hazard

Yamaha is recalling model year 2019 to 2025 UMAX Bistro and Bistro Deluxe vehicles because the weight capacity label is wrong, which could allow the vehicle to be overloaded and cause injury.

What is recalled
Model Year 2019-2025 Yamaha UMAX Bistro and Bistro Deluxe vehicles. Gas models: J0G (YUM2A) with serial numbers 0000104 to 0601120. Electric models: J5D (YUM2E) with serial numbers 0000116 to 0000230. These four-lid ice chest service vehicles were sold in white, green, red, teal, and brown. Check the serial number on the frame under the rear cargo area.

You're affected if you own a Yamaha UMAX Bistro or Bistro Deluxe from model years 2019 to 2025. Find the serial number on the frame under the rear cargo area: gas models start 0000104 to 0601120 (J0G/YUM2A), electric models start 0000116 to 0000230 (J5D/YUM2E).
