2025 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN: AIR BAGS:SENSOR:OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION:FRONT PASSENGER

Volkswagen is recalling certain 2025 Tiguan SUVs because a wiring fault in the passenger occupant detection system (PODS) can mistakenly deactivate the front passenger airbag, even when someone is sitting in that seat. A disabled airbag significantly raises the risk of serious injury in a crash.
