Sanven Technology Recalls Vevor Baby Gates Due to Risk of Serious Injury from Entrapment Hazard; Violates Mandatory Standard for Gates and Enclosures

Vevor retractable baby gates are being recalled because a child's torso can slip through the gap between the gate and the floor, creating a serious entrapment risk. The gates also violate the mandatory federal safety standard for expansion gates and expandable enclosures.

What is recalled
Vevor-branded retractable safety gates sold in gray, black, and white. Each gate has a metal frame approximately 34.2 inches tall and a retractable mesh screen. Three width models are included: YJ-3355 (extends up to 60 inches wide), YJ-3371 (extends up to 76.8 inches wide), and YJ-33110 (extends up to 116 inches wide). "Vevor" appears on a label on the corner post; the model number is printed on the product packaging and in the user manual.

Stop using the gate immediately. Destroy it by cutting through the mesh, then photograph the destroyed gate and email the photo to recalling@vevor.com to receive a full refund.
