Fasteners holding the seat back to the seat bottom may be loose on certain 2026 Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles. A loose seat may not properly restrain you during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

2026 Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles with improperly tightened fasteners attaching the seat back to the seat bottom.

You are affected if you own a 2026 Tesla Model 3 or Model Y. Check your owner notification letter (mailed August 16, 2025) or contact Tesla at 1-877-798-3752 with your vehicle identification number to confirm.
