Sunnyyes LED mini color-changing lights are being recalled because young children can easily reach the lithium coin batteries inside, and if swallowed, those batteries can cause internal chemical burns or death. The product also lacks required safety warnings on its packaging.

What is recalled
Sunnyyes branded LED mini lights, color-changing, 13-color sets. Each set includes 10 multicolored lights (1.18 inches in diameter), each containing two CR2032 lithium coin batteries, plus two remote controls each containing one CR2025 lithium coin battery.

You're affected if you own Sunnyyes LED mini lights with 10 color-changing bulbs (13 colors) and two remote controls. Check the brand name "Sunnyyes" on the product or packaging. If it matches, this recall applies to you.
What to do right now
Stop using these lights immediately and move them somewhere children absolutely cannot reach. To get a full refund: disassemble all components and submerge them in water, then email a photo of the submerged product to usa@sunnyyes.com. Dispose of the coin batteries through your local hazardous-waste recycling program, do not throw them in household trash.

The hazard
The recalled LED lights violate the mandatory standard for consumer products containing button cell or coin batteries because the lights contain lithium coin batteries that can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. Additionally, the screw used on the remote controls to secure the battery compartments that contain a lithium coin battery does not remain attached. Also, the packaging does not have the warnings as required by Reese's Law. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns and death.
