Chrysler is recalling certain 2025 to 2026 Ram pickup and cab chassis trucks because a software error can cause the instrument panel display to go completely blank. A blank display hides critical warnings and gear selection information, increasing the risk of a crash.

What is recalled

Certain 2025 to 2026 Ram trucks across these body styles: Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis, Ram 4500 Cab Chassis, and Ram 5500 Cab Chassis. Chrysler's internal recall reference numbers are B4C and B8C.

You're affected if you own a 2025 or 2026 Ram 1500, 2500, or 3500 Pickup, a 2025 to 2026 Ram 3500, 4500, or 5500 Cab Chassis. To confirm your specific Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is included, enter it at NHTSA.gov, affected VINs became searchable there on December 4, 2025.

Take your vehicle to a Ram/Chrysler dealership for a free software update or instrument panel cluster replacement. Owner notification letters were mailed December 18, 2025.
