Certain Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 trucks with a 3.5 inch cluster and column shifter may show an incorrect gear selection on the display, which could mislead you about which gear is actually selected and cause unexpected vehicle movement or a crash. A free software update at your dealer will fix this.

You are affected if you own a Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 with a 3.5 inch cluster and column shifter. Check your owner notification letter mailed May 22, 2025, or contact Chrysler at 800-853-1403 to confirm your vehicle is included. Reference Chrysler recall number 36C.
