2025 NISSAN ROGUE: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM:THROTTLEBODY/MANIFOLD

Nissan is recalling 2024 to 2025 Rogue vehicles with 1.5L turbo engines because the electronic throttle body gears can break, causing loss of engine power and increasing crash risk. Dealers will reprogram the engine control module and replace the throttle body if needed, at no cost.

What is recalled

2024 to 2025 Nissan Rogue vehicles equipped with 3-cylinder 1.5L variable compression turbo (VC-Turbo) engines.

Am I affected

You're affected if you own a 2024 or 2025 Nissan Rogue with a 1.5L VC-Turbo engine. Check your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on NHTSA.gov starting February 27, 2026, to confirm if your vehicle is included. You should have received an owner notification letter in April 2026.

Contact Nissan customer service at 800-647-7261 to schedule a free dealer appointment. The dealer will reprogram your engine control module and inspect and replace the electronic throttle body assembly as necessary.
