Academy Sports + Outdoors is recalling Magellan Odyssey Rocker Chairs because the legs can break, creating a fall and injury hazard. The recall affects chairs with manufacture dates from July or August 2025.

What is recalled
Magellan Odyssey Rocker Chairs sold by Academy Sports + Outdoors from September to October 2025. Affected chairs have manufacture date codes 07/2025 or 08/2025, printed on the tracking label on the seat. They come in charcoal, navy, olive green, and teal colors. Chairs measure approximately 25.2" long × 5.5" deep × 37.4" high when folded, or 25.4" long × 25.2" deep × 37.4" high when opened. Look for "ACADEMY, LTD," "177296," and the manufacture date in MM/YYYY format on the sewn seat label.

You're affected if you own a Magellan Odyssey Rocker Chair purchased from Academy Sports + Outdoors between September and October 2025 with a manufacture date code of 07/2025 or 08/2025 printed on the sewn label on the seat.
