Kitosun Submersible LED Lights are being recalled because the coin batteries inside can be easily accessed by children. If a child swallows a coin or button cell battery, it can cause internal chemical burns, serious injury, or death.

What is recalled
Kitosun Submersible LED Lights, a set of 10 color-changing LED lights (each about 3.5 cm in diameter) that come with two remote controls. Each light has a preinstalled CR2450 lithium coin battery (20 total); each remote has a preinstalled CR2032 lithium coin battery (4 total).

The hazard
The recalled LED lights violate the mandatory standard for consumer products containing button cell or coin batteries because they contain lithium coin batteries that can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. Additionally, the LED lights do not have the warnings as required by Reese's Law. When children swallow button cell or coin batteries, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death, posing an ingestion hazard to children.
