Kia is recalling certain 2024-2025 EV9 vehicles because the second- and third-row seat mounting bolts may be missing. Seats without proper bolts may not restrain occupants correctly during a crash, increasing injury risk.

You're affected if you own a 2024 or 2025 Kia EV9 and have second- or third-row seating. You should have received an owner notification letter mailed January 24, 2025.
What to do right now
Contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542 to schedule a free inspection and installation of mounting bolts if needed. Reference recall SC329. Do not use the second- or third-row seats until this inspection is completed.
