2025 HYUNDAI PALISADE: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:FLUID/LUBRICANT:PUMP

Hyundai is recalling certain 2025 Palisade SUVs because a faulty seal on the electric oil pump controller can let moisture build up on the circuit board, causing an electrical short and potentially a fire. A fire can occur whether the vehicle is parked or being driven.

What is recalled

2025 Hyundai Palisade SUVs. NHTSA recall ID: 25V291000. Hyundai internal recall number: 278. The defect is in the electric oil pump controller, which has an insufficient seal that allows moisture intrusion.

Then take it to a Hyundai dealer, they will replace the electric oil pump controller at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 11, 2025.
