2026 FORD E-450: BACK OVER PREVENTION:WARNINGS:EXTERNAL/PEDESTRIAN ALERT

The backup alarm on certain 2026 and 2027 Ford E-350 and E-450 vehicles may fail to sound when reversing, increasing the risk of hitting a pedestrian or another vehicle. Ford will replace the faulty connector for free.

2026 and 2027 Ford E-350 and E-450 vehicles with a loose or detached backup alarm connector on the frame wiring harness.

Contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 or take your vehicle to an authorized Ford dealer to have the exterior sound connector replaced for free. Reference recall number 26S12. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 17, 2026.
