DR Power Equipment Recalls Lawn Mowers Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Laceration Hazard; Violate Mandatory Standard for Lawn Mowers

DR Power is recalling its PRO MAX30 30-inch walk-behind lawn mowers because the blades can keep spinning even after you release the blade control, or can run without it being engaged at all. This creates a serious risk of deep cuts or worse.

What is recalled

DR Power PRO MAX30 30-inch Deck Wide Cut Walk-Behind Power Lawn Mowers (10.6 FPT), in orange and black. Three models are covered: - ES, model WM25030DEN, serial numbers 3015894821 to 3017342386 - MS, model WM25030DMN, serial numbers 3015662325 to 3017342379 - MS Recon, model WM25030DMNR, serial number 3015913138 The model and serial number are printed on the left side of the mower, in front of the rear wheel. "PRO MAX30" appears on the front handlebars and the "DR" logo is on the clippings bag, front guard, and top of the motor.

Am I affected

You're affected if you own a DR Power PRO MAX30 walk-behind mower (model WM25030DEN, WM25030DMN, or WM25030DMNR) with a serial number in the ranges listed above. Check the label on the left side of the mower, in front of the rear wheel, for the model and serial number.

Stop using the mower immediately unless you have already installed the free repair kit sent by DR Power.
