CooCooBaby is recalling its Classic and Deluxe Baby Loungers because the design puts sleeping infants at serious risk. The sides are too short to secure a baby, the sleeping pad is too thick (a suffocation hazard), and an infant can fall out of or become trapped in the foot opening.

What is recalled
CooCooBaby "Classic" and "Deluxe" Baby Loungers. Both styles are made of a foam sleeping pad and padded bumpers with a cloth cover, sold in multiple styles and colors. The Classic lounger has a ribbon tie at the foot; the Deluxe lounger has buttons at the foot. The "CooCooBaby" brand name and manufacturing information appear on tags on the side of each lounger.
Am I affected
You are affected if you own a CooCooBaby Baby Lounger in either the "Classic" or "Deluxe" style. Check the tags on the side of the lounger for the "CooCooBaby" brand name. If it says CooCooBaby, stop using it immediately regardless of color or style.
What to do right now
Stop using the lounger immediately. To get a full refund to your original payment method: remove the sleeping pad, cut up both the lounger sides and the sleeping pad to destroy them, then email a photo of the destroyed product to support@coocoobabyofficial.com. The hazard
The baby loungers violate the mandatory standard for Infant Sleep Products because the sides are shorter than the minimum side height limit to secure the infant; the sleeping pad's thickness exceeds the maximum limit, posing a suffocation hazard; and an infant could fall out of an enclosed opening at the foot of the lounger or become entrapped. The portable loungers do not have a stand, posing a fall hazard. These violations create an unsafe sleeping environment for infants, posing a risk of serious injury or death.
