The rear fuel pump in certain 2025 to 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 and GMC Sierra 3500 trucks may fail to deliver adequate fuel to the front tank, causing the engine to stall without warning. An unexpected stall while driving increases the risk of a crash.

2025 and 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 and GMC Sierra 3500 vehicles with gasoline engines and dual fuel tanks (RPO codes L8T and N2N). Check your VIN on NHTSA.gov to confirm if your specific vehicle is affected.
