BBWOO Baby Loungers Recalled Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Head Injury; Violates Mandatory Standard for Bicycle Helmets

BBWOO baby loungers have been recalled because they violate the mandatory federal safety standard for infant sleep products. The sides are too low to contain a baby, and foot openings are too wide, creating serious fall and entrapment hazards that can cause severe injury or death.

What is recalled
BBWOO baby loungers sold by LSY Direct (on Amazon). Each lounger is made of a foam sleeping pad and padded bumpers with a cloth cover and a ribbon tie at one end. The model number is on a tracking label stitched to the outside cover. Recalled styles and model numbers: • Gray Dinosaur, BLG26BE • Blue Car, BLG23BD • Green Line, BLG04BD • Gray Feather, BLG01BE • Pink Deer, BLG17BI • Pink Elephant, BLG32BI • Gray Line, BLG04BE • Blue, CZC44 • Gray, CZC41 • Khaki-Cotton & Velvet, CZC43 • Red, CZC42

You're affected if you own a BBWOO baby lounger with any of these model numbers on the tracking label stitched to the outside cover: BLG26BE, BLG23BD, BLG04BD, BLG01BE, BLG17BI, BLG32BI, BLG04BE, CZC44, CZC41, CZC43, or CZC42.
What to do right now
Stop using the lounger immediately, do not let any infant sleep or rest in it. To get a full refund: remove the foam and pads from the cover, then cut the cover, foam, and pad in half. The hazard
The recalled baby loungers violate the mandatory safety standard for Infant Sleep Products. The sides are too low to contain an infant and the enclosed openings at the foot of the loungers are wider than allowed, posing serious risks of fall and entrapment hazards to infants. In addition, the baby loungers do not have a stand, posing a fall hazard if used on elevated surfaces. These violations create an unsafe sleeping environment and can cause death or serious injury.
