Andersen Windows is recalling window opening control devices (WOCDs) sold as kits or factory-installed on 100 Series casement windows made before November 19, 2025. The devices can break or detach after an impact, allowing the window to open fully and creating a serious fall hazard, especially for children.

What is recalled
Window opening control devices (WOCDs) sold individually as kits or as factory-installed accessories on Andersen 100 Series casement windows manufactured prior to November 19, 2025. Check the Product ID number on the label in the upper right corner of your window to confirm whether your unit is included.

You're affected if you have an Andersen 100 Series casement window that was manufactured before November 19, 2025 and has a window opening control device installed, either factory-fitted or added as a separate kit. Look for the Product ID label in the upper right corner of the window and contact Andersen Windows to verify whether your specific unit is covered by this recall.
