Certain 2026 Lexus RZ, Toyota BZ, and Subaru Solterra battery electric vehicles with electronic control units that control the high voltage battery.

You're affected if you own a 2026 Lexus RZ, Toyota BZ, or Subaru Solterra. Check your vehicle's year and model, and watch your mail for an owner notification letter expected August 3, 2026.

Take your vehicle to a Toyota or Subaru dealer for a free software update to the battery control unit. If you have questions, contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's recall numbers are 26LA07 and 26TA11. Subaru's recall number is WRG26.
