2025 NISSAN ROGUE: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM:THROTTLEBODY/MANIFOLD

Certain 2024 to 2025 Nissan Rogue vehicles with 1.5L turbo engines have electronic throttle body gears that may break, causing loss of engine power and increasing crash risk. Nissan will reprogram your engine software and replace the throttle body assembly for free.

What is recalled
2024 to 2025 Nissan Rogue vehicles equipped with 3-cylinder 1.5L variable compression turbo (VC-Turbo) engines.
Am I affected
You're affected if you own a 2024 or 2025 Nissan Rogue with a 3-cylinder 1.5L VC-Turbo engine. Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) on NHTSA.gov starting February 27, 2026, to confirm your vehicle is included.
What to do right now
Contact Nissan customer service at 800-647-7261 or visit a Nissan dealer to schedule a free inspection and software reprogram of your engine control module (ECM). The dealer will replace the electronic throttle body assembly if necessary. Owner notification letters were mailed April 8, 2026.
